Manchester United and Chelsea target Boubakary Soumare has suggested he wants to remain at Lille until the top of the season. last week that the France U21 midfielder is about to make a decision between joining Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's or Frank Lampard's squad after this weekend's Ligue 1 clash with Paris Saint-Germain.

Could Olivier Giroud be joining Inter?
Inter Milan are making progress in their attempts to sign Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud after a loan deal for Napoli and former Tottenham striker Fernando Llorente fell through, consistent with Sky Italy.

FERNANDES DEADLOCK?
Manchester United have reached a deadlock with Sporting Lisbon over the transfer of Bruno Fernandes after his valuation almost doubled in the space of 48 hours.
Last summer, Manchester United and other clubs including Tottenham were quoted £39m (€45m) for the midfielder.
Two days into the latest negotiations, Sporting's asking price increased to £68m (€80m) and as a consequence no further discussions are planned for this weekend between the two clubs.
 understands Manchester United feel their latest bid reflects Fernandes' form, the midfielder has 13 goals in all competitions for Sporting in 21 games.
It is likely that negotiations will resume next week with United keen to sign Fernandes having identified him as their primary target in the January transfer window.

MAN UTD CLOSE TO FERNANDES AGREEMENT



 Manchester United are on the brink of reaching an agreement with Sporting Lisbon to sign Bruno Fernandes during a deal which might be worth up to £60m. 
It is understood that the Portuguese could complete his move after his final appearance for Sporting in Friday's derby with Benfica in Lisbon. United can pay £43m upfront for the Portugal international with an additional £17m in potential add-ons. 
The 25-year-old has also agreed on personal terms with United which can see him earn around £120,000 every week at Old Trafford. 
Part of the negotiations over a deal for Fernandes included Manchester United not wanting him to play in Friday's game but the player and Sporting insist that he was getting to play so as to mention a correct goodbye to the club and therefore the supporters. 
It is understood that the deal could progress very quickly over the weekend and there's speculation in Portugal that he could even be within the stands for United's clash with Liverpool at Anfield on Super Sunday. 
The deal is going to be the second biggest ever involving a Portuguese player leaving a Portuguese club to travel elsewhere after Joao Felix's £107m move to Atletico Madrid last summer from Benfica.

LAMPARD: BARKLEY STAYING AT CHELSEA 

Frank Lampard says there's no chance Ross Barkley will leave Chelsea this month amid reports West Ham are keen to sign Britain internationally.
